For the first time Sophia Webster’s quirky designs will be available to buy in her own stand alone store. For the next six weeks, the statement shoes, which look to everything from flamingos to pencil crayons for inspiration, will be available to buy in the Burlington Arcade pop-up shop.

In typical Sophia style, the store will be awash with whimsicality. Expect to see life size flamingo statues popping up amongst peep toes, and her signature ‘Sophia’ neon light hanging above the store’s entrance.

Setting up shop next to some of London’s most premium and traditional stores, such as Ladurée, Church’s and Penhaligon’s; Sophia’s shoe haven will add a youthful vibe to the iconic Burlington Arcade.

“I thought it would be fun to do it Burlington Arcade – bring a bit of life to the place,” the British designer told the Evening Standard.

Despite only launching her eponymous label for Spring Summer 13, Sophia Webster has become one of the most talked about shoe designers of the year. Her bold and beautiful designs have already notched up many a red carpet appearance, dressing the feet of Rihanna, Chloe Moretz and Solange Knowles to name a few.

The Pre-Fall 13 colelction has just launched online, offering a sneak peak of what’s to come. From the looks of things, Sophia has delved into her painter’s box for the new collection, adorning heels with pencil-shaped PVC, splatters of paint and lining chunky wedges with rows of crayons.

One person that’ll be sporting the new collection is Sophia herself, who is regularly spotted in her own designs. “Working in shoe design, being able to wear the finished product is certainly one of the perks of the job,” Sophia says. “I have a show room at home, so that should give you an idea of how many pairs I have!”

Oh for a day to walk in Sophia’s shoes.
