Pucker up this season, as cult British shoe designer Sophia Webster joins forces with iconic beauty brand Revlon, to celebrate their new Colorstay Ultimate Suede Lipstick.
Shoe designer of the moment, Sophia Webster has been the name on every fashion editor’s lips since her debut London Fashion Week collection for SS13. This season, her quirky charm has caught the eye of global beauty brand, Revlon, who have enlisted the British designer to create a line in conjunction with their new Colorstay Ultimate Suede Lipstick range.
The latest lippy offering from Revlon comprises 14 new sumptuous shades, eight of which are the inspiration for eight new Sophia Webster designs, in a collection titled Suede by Sophia.
The lipsticks come in a range of shades from vampish burgundy to pale and pretty pink, all with super moisturising shea butter, aloe and a suede-look finish. Sophia’s shoe designs follow suit, created in the same colour ways as their corresponding lipstick and all featuring sumptuous suede fabric.
Standout shoe of the collection has to be the Liza Get Lippy design. In vibrant fuchsia and covered in a lip smacking embroidered kiss print, these are certainly statement shoes. They’re also available in a discreet burgundy tone, for a more classic look.
Also featured in the collection are Sophia’s signature candy stripes as seen in her stunning SS13 line. The Kiki Kisses design, which is one of Sophia’s personal favourites, mixes a candy stripe pin heel with Perspex and a hot pink lip print – as Sophia puts it, “it looks as if there is nothing but kiss prints all over your feet.”
The eight designs are due to go on sale soon, but in the meantime fans of the brand can visit the Sophia Webster and Revlon website to be in with a chance of winning one of the exclusive designs.
