Matches Launch Olympic T-Shirts

Matches Olympic T ShirtsLuxury fashion boutique, Matches launch a collection of Olympic t shirts in a designer charity collaboration.

British fashion boutique and online store, Matches are to launch a collection of charity Olympic t-shirts, from the likes of some of Britain’s most revered designers.

Sold exclusively through Matches, the t shirt collection will not only honour the forthcoming Olympic Games, but the recent Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and of course, the impressive design talent here in the UK. Joining the team are some of StyleNest’s favourite British based designers, from the likes of Richard Nicoll to Jonathan Saunders and proceeds from sales will be donated to The Dispossessed Fund – a charity which helps fight poverty in London.

Retailing at just £60 each, the Olympic t shirts are a great way to get your hands on pieces from the likes of Roksanda Illincic, Mary Katrantzou and Erdem for a fraction of the price whilst supporting a great cause. Equally, the thrifty price tag is sure to make them a quick fire sellout.

The t-shirts are a colourful bunch with a floral burst by Jonathan Saunders and Roksanda Illincic’s signature primary block shades and feminine frilled hems making an appearance. Mary Katrantzou delivers a more abstract approach with her well recognised surrealist prints in the form of cute cellphone buttons, whilst Holly Futon goes for gold with an Art Deco design.

“London is the centre of attention at the moment with the Jubilee and Olympics right around the corner,” says Saunders, “Not to mention the fact it has become the epicentre of such innovative design, I’m just happy to be a part of it in my own way.”

Available from Thursday 19th July, the Matches Olympic T-Shirts collections is sure to be the sell out of the summer, and the most stylish way to cheer on Team GB.
