Mahabis Canvas

In the market for a new home working footwear pick, here at SN we’ve been road-testing Mahabis Canvas.

Available in four shades, you will find- Kode Slate, Loten Navy, Koge Grey and Black Edition. Each one a chic muted colour option, my husband has been trialling the Black Edition pair. A serious upgrade on his previous slippers, these newbies were met with very happy approval upon their arrival last weekend.

The ultimate WFH shoe slipper hybrid; Mahabis Canvas are lightweight, hard wearing and supremely comfortable. Priced at £89, the sleek canvas footwear comprises a technically woven upper, indulgent 100% wool lining and a robust TPU performance-graded fixed sole with multi-surface grip. In terms of the aforementioned-comfort factor, a gently compressing upper joins the contouring footbed to offer intuitive support.

Whether slipping them on for pottering around the house, venturing into the garden or going out on a walk, Mahabis are renowned for their excellent quality and luxe simplicity. Easy to wear, the sculpted foam in-sock means they are simple to slip on but also support your feet. They are a slipper shoe which are lifestyle-led. The water and abrasion-resistant upper for example, is a brilliant design feature.

From a trend point of view, the Scandi-inspired aesthetic ensures an Instagram-friendly footwear pick, worth showing off while working from home. Both my husband and I have a pair of Mahabis now (mine are the Classic Slipper in Monochrome), and we’re firm fans. He’s been wearing his new Canvas beauties around the clock and my pair from last year are still a daily staple.

Practical, luxurious and a treat for your feet, they are such a versatile footwear buy for both the current situation and our usual everyday lives.

Father’s Day looming, they’d make an ideal gift…
