ALDO RISE Announces Fourth Partnership With Preen

ALDO RISE, the designer capsule collection that brings high-end designers to the heart of high street footwear, is back for Autumn/Winter ’13. The global brand have once again teamed up with London based womenswear designer, Preen, for a three-piece capsule collection.

The shoes were shown as part of Preen By Thornton Bregazzi’s AW13 Fashion Week show and take reference from Derek Jarmon’s post-apocalyptic, New-Wave cult film “Jubilee”.

Preen, which is headed up by husband and wife team Justin Thornton and Thea Bregazzi, lends its signature style to the ALDO capsule collections very well, drawing on luxurious, modern pieces with a rebellious edge. This season they have championed the punk trend, with their leather and tartan print separates.

The PREEN X ALDO RISE takes lead from there, with the rebellious red ankle booties adorned with punkish buckles. As well as a more ladylike take on the trend with the island platform, ankle strap courts which come in a texture clash of pony hair, leather, and suede – simultaneously sexy, tough and chic.

The third and final design of the collection is the Autumn/Winter worthy ankle boot, which comes in a choice of dove, pastel blue or classic black.

Available in store and online from October, the PREEN X ALDO RISE collection offers fashion fans a unique opportunity to covet a piece of the designer brand for a fraction of the usual price.
