While we’re still basking in the sun, fashion has already moved on. It’s all about the next collections, the next trends and most importantly, the stars of the Autumn Winter 2014 campaigns.
Setting the mood and tone for a brands entire season, the campaigns are way more than a mere advertising tool.
As serious aficionados of these bi-annual images, we’re rejoicing in the fact that we’ve got another bumper opportunity to see the best models, photographers, stylists and artistic directors all joining forces to create some of the best and most provocative images you’ll see all season.
And boy are the results for Autumn Winter 14 exciting. Ranging from refined minimalism to pumped-up story-telling, there’s mind-blowing sets, dreamy landscapes and extravagant props and the odd super to show off the latest fabrics, cuts and colours.
Magazines and billboards are certainly in for a treat.
So what can we learn about the new season form these images? There’s certainly an eclectic mix of contrasts with rich texture and embellishment juxtaposing with cocoon shapes and retro references.
And topping our favourites list? It’s a tough call but Kate Moss makes a great alias for the kooky Stella McCartney campaign while we’re lusting after everything in the dreamy Kurt Geiger camping staring Karen Elson, and of course, how can we not mention the truly genius Lanvin campaign starring Edie Campbell and her entire family? Seeing, really is believing…
Dolce & Gabbana
Never ones to disappoint, Dolce & Gabbana have fully embraced the fashion fairy-tale theme that played so heavily throughout the new season catwalks. Embroidered capes, bejewelled bags and Claudia Schiffer are highlights from this dreamy Italian affair.
Stella McCartney RTW
With Mert and Marcus behind the lens and Kate Moss up front, it was always going to be a winning product. But what we love most is the fun, feminine and relaxed feel and just how personal it feels. Natural, sexy and modern – everything we’ve come to expect form Stella and it doesn’t disappoint.
Dior
Creative Director Raf Simons and models including Julia Nobis and Fei Fei Sun make for a campaign full of lust-worthy colour and powerful cuts and silhouettes.
Stella McCartney Eyewear
Eyewear campaigns can sometimes be a little dull or formulaic, but with a dreamy mountainous landscape, clothing zip montage and of course, the enigmatic Kate Moss, Stella McCartney’s quirky approach is so refreshing.

Edie Campbell and her entire family (yep, that’s her sister, grandmother and mother all included) star in this truly original, and utterly genius Lanvin Autumn Winter 2014 campaign.
Mulberry
Mulberry has returned to its British heritage roots for Autumn Winter 14 with an atmospheric set of images shot by the legendary Time Walker starring the enfant terrible, Cara Delevingne.
Prabal Gurung
Now here’s how to make a new season impact. Starring the ever-stunning Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Prabal Gurung’s other worldly campaign is full of opulent texture and rich colours.
Kurt Geiger
The high street goes high end this season as Kurt Geiger opt for a dramatic Red Riding hood feel that looks like it’s come out of the pages of a fashion editorial. Super casting in the form of Karen Elson, too.
Cos
Here’s minimalism at its best. The new Cos campaign is a lesson in everything we want to own next season. Key trends to take away? Utilitarianism, soft tailoring and organic textures sharpened with functional details, that’s what.
Jaeger
Jaeger celebrates its 130th anniversary with its touching ‘Mothers & Daughters’ campaign featuring three iconic British models.
Jimmy Choo
If there’s one footwear trend to invest in this season, it’s the knee high boot. And Jimmy Choo certainly knows how to shoe it off with maximum effect.
French Connection
French Connection are bringing a little bit of a magic to the Autumn Winter campaigns (pardon the pun) with their Never Miss A trick themed imagery.
