The Spa At Bowood’s Autumn Seasonal Treatment

Bowood Hotel,Spa & Golf Resort Spa entranceSet in the grounds of the magnificent Bowood Estate, The Spa at Bowood will offer you some much needed me-time to get you through the dark, dreary Autumn months.

The Spa’s menu is made up of Sundari treatments that are created using seasonal and Indian influences.  With plenty to choose from, there is sure to be a treatment tailored to your needs but for the ultimate in relaxation, it has to be Sundari’s Autumn 60-Minute Neem and Pumpkin Facial.   The Spa offers four specialist seasonal treatments a year, with ingredients often sourced from Bowood’s gardens, making this a truly bespoke spa service.

The treatment starts with a consultation with the therapist, talking through your daily skincare routine, any skin problems you may be suffering from, and going through any allergies or dislikes the treatment may entail.  The treatment room feels comfortable and warm with deep red tones, candles, and soothing music; it complements the Autumn-inspired treatment perfectly.

The facial begins with a soothing gel cleanse, cream cleanse, and tonic.  All enriched with Indian Neem oil, they nourish and heal skin from the harsh elements of winter, work, or busy lifestyles.  The scents smell naturally beautiful and instantly ease you into a relaxed state.  Next up is a Neem & Avocado Balancing Moisturiser to minimise any apparent pores, a soothing Neem Eye Cream, and Chamomile Oil to finish.  The therapist will substitute any products with another should they not agree with your skin type.

For added pampering, a head and hand massage complete the treatment, leaving you feeling fresh, de-stressed, and ready for the harsh winter months ahead.  Pregnant women or nursing mothers are advised against this treatment but the therapists are happy to tailor you a bespoke facial with products that are maternity-friendly.

The Sundari Auntumn 60 Minute Naem & Pumpkin Facial is priced at £140 for 60 minutes.  Visit http://www.bowood-hotel.co.uk/ for more.
