Cut & Blow Dry At Richard Ward

Richard Ward SalonAfter a long winter, StyleNest was in desperate need of a makeover and what better place than at stylist to the stars, Richard Ward?

Located on the delightful Duke of York Square just off the King’s Road, the Richard Ward salon is just what you would expect from one of London’s top hairdressers. A state of the art pampering retreat in the heart of London, the Richard Ward salon is home to over 75 staff and deals with over 1000 clients visiting per week.

It’s fair to say we’ve had a pretty wet and windy winter, so we headed to Richard Ward for some hair TLC to sort out our split ends and tired tresses.

Salon Director, Matt Hawes greeted us, walking us through the colour zone, the cleanse zone, and finally through to the relax zone, followed by a quick peek at the Metrospa and finally to our seat where hair magic happens.

The salon is a hair destination like no other, where luxury is at the forefront.

After a quick natter, we got down to the very serious business of hair talk and discussed what we were going to do with our unruly tresses. After some to-ing and fro-ing from long to short, layers and no layers, we decided on a few subtle layers in the front and a good tidy up of the length.

After an hour of shaping, layering and split end snipping, our hair was looking cleaner, sharper and sleeker than ever. Matt’s cutting technique was flawless and we felt in incredibly safe hands. The blow dry finish added such volume that we were left truly amazed.

Soon enough our hair was red carpet ready and cleanly trimmed for Spring. After a brief distraction in the retail zone unveiling a selection of hair and beauty saviours, we made our way back onto the bustling King’s Road looking and feeling like a different person.

The Richard Ward salon is located at 82 Duke of York Square, Sloane Square, London, SW3 4LY.

Opening hours: Monday – Tuesday 9am – 7pm, Wednesday 9am – 8pm, Thursday – Saturday 9am – 7pm, Sunday – closed.
