How To Look Photo Ready At Any Opportunity

PhotographerHaving your photograph taken can be a real daunting experience for the best of us. There’s just something about having that lens in our face that can make anyone crack under the pressure. But, if you have the confidence that you are photo ready could that improve how you feel in front of the camera? I do, and here is how to be photo ready at any opportunity.

Focus on your face

This could mean many more things than just having a face full of makeup. Clear and vibrant skin, making the most out of your features and being happy in your skin.

Having a clear and outlined skincare routine can have a real positive effect on the way your skin looks. As well as providing you with a much-needed confidence boost. Clear skin can make you feel good about yourself.

Even increasing your water intake can help for a more vibrant look.

Focus on what makes you unique and your best features

Also, it’s great idea to make the most out of your best features that you have. You may have beautiful eyes, but hide them behind spectacles. You may love your glasses, or you may find them a hindrance. You could always look into cheap laser eye surgery so that you wouldn’t need to wear them anymore.

You may have flawless cheekbones, just by smiling more could enhance that feature in front of the camera. Know your best features and make sure they shine through.

A photogenic person has confidence in the way they look. Even with a gap in their teeth or squinty eyes. Know that you are unique and use that to your advantage.

Focus on showing your emotions

There is a real difference between someone who is genuine and smiling in front of the camera and some who is posing.

Showing your emotions will portray a much more natural look on a photograph. The best tips are not to keep your lips together. You would always smile and laugh naturally while showing your teeth, so why wouldn’t you in front of a camera? Don’t create a smile or look just for the photo, as this will never appear natural or portray who you are.

When you show you true emotions, your whole face is affected by how you look and feel. If are smiling naturally then your eyes will be lit up, just the way they would if the camera wasn’t there. Your eyebrows are raised; your cheekbones will be highlighted, your forehead. Each feature of your face will be highlighted.

Be confident in yourself and who you are.

Focus on posing

I don’t mean strike a pose as such but don’t stand square on either. Try and stand like you would do in a normal situation. Bend your joints and work your assets. It will always give you a confidence boost knowing that you stood naturally and as you would instead of being put into a position. This could make you feel uncomfortable and not create a good photograph.

Focus on having fun

Finally, just have fun with it, don’t let the pressure of the camera get to you. The whole point of taking a photograph is to seal the memory for life. You wanted to look happy and fulfilled and not staged or posed.
