It’s soon to be bigger and better than ever as Selfridges’ plans to turn the beauty hall into a cosmetics mecca are underway. Named the Beauty Workshop, the expansion will take the department up to a beauty behemoth sized 5000sq feet, and house everything from tanning studios to blow dry bars, as well as 50 newly launched brands.
Phase 1 of the Beauty Workshop development is underway and has seen the introduction of both products and services. First up is The Paint Shop – Selfridges’ first non-branded mani/pedi station, which offers customers the chance to be pampered between shops. A new Blink bar has also launched, where beauty junkies can acquire perfectly threaded brows in a matter of minutes, and some of the freshest brands in the beauty industry from Topshop Makeup to Youngblood will also be setting up.
One of StyleNest’s favourite brands will also be hitting the shelves of the Beauty Workshop – luxury skincare range, Omorovicza. To celebrate the opening of the Beauty Workshop, the Budapest-based brand is launching the new Intensive Hydra-Lifting Cream exclusively to Selfridges.
Perfect if you’re on the hunt for a hardworking anti-wrinkle cream, Omorovicza’s latest product combines a handful of active ingredients that firm, smooth and even-out lines. Using an Alga Complex, skin is repaired and less likely to look worn or tired, whilst Omorovicza’s signature mud minerals work to improve the skin’s suppleness, helping it to look radiant and above all, younger. It’s sure to become yet another Omorovicza product added to our beauty hero list.
The Selfridges Beauty Workshop is located on the Ground Floor of the Oxford Street Store. More expansions, launches and events will be taking place throughout the year, so be sure to check the Selfridges website for more info.
