So, in case you didn’t know, they are a French brand, relatively new to the UK. Sanoflore is an organically certified, clinically proven and sustainably harvested range of products that are a joy to use and deliver in results.
Personally, I can give or take a toner in my skincare routine, I’ve never been that fussed by them, until I started using Sanoflore’s Aqua Magnifica – Skin Perfecting Botanical Essence. It contains organic peppermint and floral water, it is SO refreshing but also gentle and anti-bacterial. I have noticed a distinct reduction in blackheads since I’ve been using it, and I’m not alone – 60% of women who trialled it, reported having less imperfections.
Their newest products to hit the shelves are the Hypnotica Eye Treatment Collection. I’d heard these were coming and have been very excited about it! Using pure extracts from nature’s most powerful plants; including clinically proven Cornflower. Cornflower has been proven to reduce eyebags and dark circles as well as protect against free radical (i.e ageing) damage. Sanoflore use Organic Centaurea Cornflower, harvested from the protected Vercors Regional Natural Park and Drome, whereby the ground and air are pure and uncontaminated, in other words; probably the best cornflower you can get!
First in the collection is the Aqua Hypnotica Botanical Essence for Eyes and Lashes. Alongside the wonder Cornflower, this liquid also contains natural Hyaluronic Acid to fight lines, naturally derived caffeine to help drain puffiness and arginine to reinforce and strengthen the eyelashes! You apply a couple of drops to your fingertips and pat into the skin around the eyes and massage into the lashes – it smells and feels divine (and even more so if you store it in the fridge for a lovely cooling sensation). It is such a lovely addition to your skincare routine – it makes a nice change to not have to “avoid the eye area” for once, and this feels so refreshing and light, a real pleasure to use.
Also, to the collection is the Regard Hypnotica Eye Cream which visibly smooths and hydrates the eye area, with 50% organic Cornflower to reduce wrinkles and eyebags, also, silk-tree extracts and holy grass darutoside to tighten the skin. It is targeted and effective with a cream/balm consistency, that melts into the skin so effortlessly and doesn’t ‘roll’ off under makeup either.
Both of these products have lived up to expectation, within 2 weeks my eye area was visibly more hydrated and by week 3 I was starting to see an improvement in the darkness under my eyes (despite my continued late nights that I still haven’t got out the habit of). I love how every product in the range feels, and it’s a nice feeling knowing that they are responsibly sourced – but the fact that they work and are (I think) very reasonably priced considering the quality, quantity and efficacy of the ingredients, this really is a brand to watch.
