Halloween has come a long way in the UK, black bin bags or white sheets just won’t cut the mustard these days. Halloween has become an ultra-glam occasion where there is no such thing as ‘too much’.
To help you get Halloween ready and attain the perfect Insta pic, Duck and Dry are partnering with Go Get Glitter on Friday 27th and Saturday 28th October at all Duck and Dry salons offering blow-dries, up-dos, stick on jewels, body paint and of course glitter! Lots and lots of glorious glitter!
Choose one of their specially created looks, such as the Black Swan, Unicorn, Mermaid, Under the Sea or Cut Throat Choker, alongside a braided up-do with glitter parting or slicked back with jewel accessories! The options are endless (this year I am totally working my Halloween outfit around my hair and makeup!).
If you can’t make it to Duck and Dry, order your gems and glitter direct from the Go Get Glitter website- the gems are an all in one sticker on a plastic sheet, simply peel and place! You can’t go wrong! When applying the glitter, use glue sparingly (too much can dull the glitter) and work in small sections at a time- a little bit of glue followed by lots of glitter, and repeat! To remove, use a cleansing balm or oil (or even coconut oil) slather it on and gently wipe away with a soft cloth- do not rub!
This is, by far, going to be my sparkliest Halloween ever!
