Following on from the huge success of its pouty predecessor, Charlotte Tilbury have introduced their brand-new Hot Lips 2.0 collection, launching on 20th June.
Also announcing a £1million pledge to Women for Women International from the sale of the Hot Lips collection between 2019-2022, Charlotte herself says, “A lipstick can change a life because if you know how a woman feels, you can change a community, and change the world!”
Charlotte has been an ambassador for Women for Women International since 2016 and this year she has big plans – offering women helped by this charity the opportunity to enrol on a year-long training programme. Changing lives, Charlotte’s pledge is one of the largest corporate donations that Women for Women International has received. Plus, it will be a crucial help, enabling women who live in some of the world’s most dangerous places to have a better future.
During Charlotte’s first meeting with Brita Fernandez Schmidt, Senior Vice President for Global Partnerships, at Women for Women International, Brita shared a moving story about women in conflict zones who would wear lipstick as a symbol of their womanhood and defiance. Proving lipstick can offer strength during even the most harrowing of times, it was this story that inspired Charlotte to create the original Hot Lips collection with Women for Women International.
