For a Stylist and Fashion Editor fashion week can be anything but glamorous, it is often exhausting & stressful. The combination of late nights, early mornings, snacking on rubbish and several cocktails play havoc with the skin, so I try to go into fashion week as healthy and as recharged as I possibly can.
With that in mind and after multiple seasons under my belt, I have compiled my own LFW Survival Kit, a list of treatments and products that will go the distance.
Facial Acupuncture – Sarah Bradden
This spiritual 360 is life changing, a combination of facial acupuncture, reflexology, and LED light therapy. I do this every.single.season.
Winter Glow Treatment – Le Kalon Spa
This 45 treatment comprising a mini radiance facial using La Sultane de Saba products followed by an Indian head massage, this gorgeous treatment will leave you feeling both revitalised and refreshed and ready to rock LFW.
This sell out grounding Moon Mist Aura spray is what I use whoever I feel nervous, anxious or burnt out. Also good for recharging crystals FYI.
These vegan lip balms are some of the most hydrating I’ve ever used and they come in a range of yummy flavours too. My fave is the watermelon but the avocado is a close second, either way they are a handbag staple every season.
Ren Evercalm Recovery Balm
The clue is in the name with this one folks, it will soothe and calm the most stressed out of skin, slather on at night, wake up and see the difference.
IGK Anti social
Over the course of the 5 days that comprises LFW by day 3, I’m 97% dry shampoo, enter my hair saviour, IGK Anti Social Overnight Bond Building Dry Hair Mask. Available at Space NK
By Terry Brightening Serum in Sunny Flash
In the bleak winter month of February when LFW occurs, none of us have seen a temperature above 15 degrees since August. So, as the saying goes, if you can’t make it, fake it and apply the sun via a bottle courtesy of By Terry Brightening Serum in Sunny Flash.
