It’s that time of year again, when we are all starting to think about Christmas. More brands this week have unveiled their Christmas gift sets and collections, and I hope that my pick of the best news inspires you in your present choices…

bi Brown’s 2016 holiday collection has been unveiled and is available from today. The Wine & Chocolate collection is every bit indulgent as you would imagine from its name. The collection was inspired by Bobbi’s (and most of ours) favourite indulgences and contains beautiful chocolate and berry shades. The Limited Edition Chocolate Eyeshadow Palette (£42.50) and Wine Eyeshadow Palette (£42.50) are the stand-out pieces and definitely a collector’s piece for makeup junkies. There’s also smaller, sparkling (like Prosecco) eyeshadow (£26), two new blushers (£25), three new lip colours (£25) and two dark nail polishes (£12.50).
Makeup brand NARS have also unveiled their Christmas collection. Like Bobbi Brown, their palettes are particularly stunning. It’s a collaboration with fashion photographer Sarah Moon and is inspired by iconic cinema and futurism. The collection will be available from 1st November and includes the new Moon Matte Lipstick (£21) in Nude Rose, Blood Red, Ruby Red and Fire Brick; Blusher (£23) in Lavender Pink and Pink Red; Duo Eyeshadows (£25); Kohl Liner (£18.50) in Iridescent Charcoal and Rust Brown; False Eyelashes (£13) in two different styles; and Nail Polish (£15), in three shades of red. The highlight, however, is the Give in Take Dual-Intensity Eye & Cheek Palette (£55).
Cult hair care and styling brand UNITE have unveiled their Christmas offerings. There are seven new gift sets that come with stylish blue and white striped bags – Fall in Love (£41.80) contains products from the 7 Seconds range, Hey Blondie (£36.30) is for blondes wanting to keep their colour vibrant, Get That Boost (£41.80) contains products to boost volume, Tame the Kink (£41.80) contains products from the LAZER Straight collection, U Luxury (£59.40) contains products with crushed pearl, Glossy Locks Set (£36.50) contains products to boost shine, and Slay Style Set (£40) which contains styling products.
Finally, collectable beauty brand Andrea Garland have announced their Christmas products. The range includes pill boxes and keepsake tin packaging in a variety of quirky illustrated designs and tartans. There’s a Get Happy Smile Kit (£24), which contains Marvellous Marvis Cinnamon toothpaste, a travel toothbrush and a zesty grapefruit lip balm; a Flight Kit (£24), containing Honeysuckle Nourishing Balm and Chamomile Rolling Remedy, a Winking Eye Mask and ear plugs. There are also lots of vintage-inspired lip balm pill boxes (£15). These are perfect stocking fillers.
