Collaboration Heaven

Beauty Bulletin wk beg 8th AugustSo many beauty brands are collaborating with beauty influencers and top fashion designers – there has been a real wave of these products recently. From whole collections created by YouTubers to limited edition packaging inspired by catwalk collections, here are latest releases and announcements…

If you are a fan of YouTuber Fleur de Force’s range of false eyelashes with Eylure, you’ll be pleased to know that there are two new additions to the line-up available now. Both sets of the new lashes are natural-looking and lightweight, as well as being designed to open up the eyes. Petit Four (£5.25) are three-quarter length lashes that kick out at the outer edge, and Fully Fleur (£5.95) are full but delicate lashes that have a pretty overlapping effect.

Another YouTuber NikkieTutorials has collaborated with Too Faced to create a whole new limited edition collection. The Power of Makeup (£50) includes a miniature purple version of the cult black Better Than Sex Mascara; an On-The-Go Palette that features nine new eyeshadows, two blushers, a highlighter and a bronzer; a Sketch Marker Liquid Art Liner in Deep Black; a miniature Shadow Insurance 24-Hour Eye Primer and a Glamour Dust loose eyeshadow pigment in Glitterally. You can get it from Debenhams from 28th August.

If you haven’t heard of the cult Caudalie Beauty Elixir (£32 for 100ml) before, where have you been? This invigorating rosemary and peppermint-scented face mist revives skin throughout the day and it has just launched in limited edition packaging in collaboration with fashion designer Jason Wu. The new bottle has a pretty lace design from his SS16 collection and would look stunning on any dressing table – get it from Space NK now.

Finally, I couldn’t round up the best of the past week’s beauty news without mentioning this – British aromatherapy beauty brand Neom Organics have launched a new product. Their Hand Balms (£15) are just as much about inner wellbeing as outer skin care. Like you would expect from a hand cream, they protect and moisturise the skin on your hands (via cocoa and shea butter); but they are also heavily scented with essential oils and are designed to be inhaled to promote inner calm, encourage sleep and energise. There are four varieties for every eventuality – Nourish, Breathe & Sleep; Nourish, Breathe & Calm; Nourish, Breathe & Energise and Nourish, Breathe & Smile.
