MO Bar Ladurée Afternoon Tea_1This Christmas, The Landmark Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong have teamed up with French Patisserie Ladurée to bring guests a mountain of macarons with a world exclusive Platinum Mandarin Macaron.

To celebrate, MO Bar and Ladurée are bringing guests a macaron spectacular featuring an afternoon tea filled with finger licking Ladurée delights.

The traditional sugary sweet sandwich menu has been created by chef Richard Ekkebus and his team, to design a tailor made tea offering French fancies with a contemporary twists. Guests will get to enjoy foie gras macaron, air baguette filled with camembert mousse wrapped in aged bayonne ham and a quiche filled with lardons of smoked bacon and gruyere cheese. For dessert, indulge in the world exclusive platinum mandarin macaron, signature rose petal macaron, classic French sweets éclair and traditional baba soaked in rum and topped with crème Chantilly.

Hamper-Sodashi RejuvenatingAs well as not going home with empty bellies, guests won’t be going home empty handed either, as they’ll also receive a Ladurée X Mandarin Oriental key ring, along with their three-tiered tea.

A three-metre Ladurée macaron will be constructed too, taking centre stage in the hotel’s lobby, marking the beginning of the festivities.

The luxurious Christmas Hampers starts at HKD 425 and the Laudurée Afternoon tea is priced at HKD288 from 1 December to 7 January.
