Vogue’s Fashion Night out has finally arrived and see’s London’s most famous shopping districts transformed into an evening of parties, launches and discount shopping events on Thursday 6 September.
Joining in the fashion extravaganza is cult Japanese brand, Uniqlo, whose latest collaboration with quirky London based designer Orla Kiely will launch exclusively for Vogue’s Fashion Night Out. The much-anticipated second collection from the duo showcases Orla Kiely’s signature style of bold, colourful and slightly vintage inspired prints. Comprising long sleeved tees, pleated shirts, dresses and stoles in a colour palette of warm autumnal tones, this is one high street collaboration that will fit into your AW12 wardrobe with ease.
The range will officially launch at Vogue’s Fashion Night Out in the flagship Uniqlo Oxford Street store. From 6-9pm on 6 September customers visiting the store can scour the new collection in style with a glass of champagne, and when they purchase two or more pieces from the Orla Kiely range they will receive a free tote bag, a set of limited edition Kiely postcards and a sweet posy of flowers.
Fans of Orla Kiely should make sure they’re at the store from 7-8pm, as the designer herself will be there meeting and greeting guests as well as signing postcards and merchandise.
We’ve had a sneak peak of the collection here at StyleNest and we’ve already got our eye on the girlish ¾ length sleeve tunic dresses. Available in a range of prints, all of which have a retro, late 60s style and come in Kiely’s signature muted tones; they’re perfect transeasonal pieces to see you into the chillier months.
If you can’t make it down to the London flagship store this evening, fret not. The collaboration will also be launching online and in select Uniqlo stores around the country from 6 September 2012.
