The Royal Shakespeare Company’s Matilda The Musical Collaborates with Liberty London.
The Royal Shakespeare’s Company production of Roald Dahl Matilda The Musical have teamed up with luxury London boutique department store Liberty London for a unique installation that celebrates the animation of the musical. Suspended over four floors of Liberty’s Central Atrium, the installation will take centre stage between the 28 October until 5 January.
The installation will celebrate the musical with an animated giant satchel with letter tiles exploding from within.
To compliment, a detailed model including a bespoke Tom Brown Satchel will feature as the Liberty London window display whilst an exclusive pop-up shop will feature adjacent to the Little Liberty department. Here, shoppers will be able to buy tickets to the award winning musical as well as merchandise for the show.
If you thought Liberty hadn’t quite gone Matilda mad then the Café Liberty will be fishing up a treat with a special Matilda cake as part of its traditional afternoon tea.

With over one million people who have seen the show since the opening in November 2010, the production has won seven Laurence Olivier Awards as well as four Tony Awards, receiving a total of 47 awards in Stratford-upon-Avon, London and New York.
