The luxururious One Aldwych hotel is launching a third season of Martini Movie Nights throughout February and March 2013.

Nestled behind Covent Garden and just a stone’s throw from the iconic Somerset House lays one of London’s most contemporary luxury hotels, One Aldwych. Always out to do something a little different, the London hotel are launching a series of events this February and March which combine two of life’s greatest pleasures– movies and martinis.

Showing in the hotel’s very own private screening room, the events offer food and film fans the chance to sit back and enjoy an iconic movie followed by an indulgent three-course meal in the hotel’s Axis restaurant.

Films on the bill range from the blockbuster Batman film, The Dark Night Rises to the quirky cult classic Chocolat. Shortly following Valentine’s Day on Friday 15^th and Sunday 17^th February will be a showing of classic romantic tale Anna Karenina, whist come Friday 22^nd and Saturday 23^rd March, treat your gent to some action with The Bourne Legacy. There’ll also be a showing of everyone’s favourite, Breakfast At Tiffany’s on Sunday 10^th March – a perfect Mother’s Day gift perhaps?

Guests will not be disappointed by the Martini Movies menu either as Executive Chef Dominic Teague will be cooking up delights such as ‘Braised Suffolk pork collar, pickled apple, crackling and sprout tops’ for main and ‘Warm Valrhona chocolate with roast banana and caramelised hazelnuts’ for dessert.

Of course a martini movie night would not be complete without the essential ingredient of a martini. Sit back in the 30-seat cinema with a shaken or stirred tipple in one hand and a box of popcorn in the other, for a movie night you won’t forget.

One Aldwych are also offering an overnight stay package priced at £320 for two people. The package includes a room for two sharing, the dinner and movie experience, plus breakfast the next morning should you need to nurse one two many martinis from the night before.
