Land Of Kids May Bank Holiday

Land of Kids Balloon ReleaseHead to East London this May Bank Holiday for the fantastic children’s event, Land of Kids.

Calling all Londoners with little ones: looking for something to do with the family this May Bank Holiday? Look no further than one of East London’s biggest family friendly events, Land of Kids.

Taking place on Monday 6 May 2013 in the trendy London suburb of Dalston, Land of Kids is sure to attract some of the Capital’s coolest little ones and their hipster parents.

Put together by a wealth of UK kid’s entertainers, the event will host everything from storytelling to dance classes, clothes customising to mini magazine making.

Punchdrunk Enrichment will be at the event bringing the kids an imaginative afternoon of storytelling from their life as balloonist adventurers. This year they’ve brought with them their magical storytelling elixir, brewed by an eccentric local botanist no less, which we’re sure will excite the imaginations of your little ones.

Next up, and one for any aspiring Anna Wintours or Jefferson Hacks, will be a magazine making class. With help from super cool kid’s mag, Anorak, little ones can create and publish their very own magazine in the Magnificent Magazine Making Machine. Conde Nast you better watch your backs.

And if that doesn’t already have you feeling exhausted, miniature culinary whizzes and wannabes can get stuck into the delectable treats dreamt up by edible artistry company, Pomp de Franc.

There’s plenty more entertainment on the Land of Kids menu from grand-scale scavenger hunts to Mad Hatter’s Tea Parties, puppetry to goody bags made up by Claire’s Accessories.

Head over to the Land of Kids this May Bank Holiday and the kids are sure to have lasting memories for years to come.
