Ten Pilates

Pilates classIf you are looking for a class to really push you, tone, strengthen, and change your body shape for good, then Dynamic Pilates is the class for you.

Whilst traditional pilates has its benefits, Dynamic Pilates will push you further, work your core harder, and burn calories like nothing else, but be warned it’s a lot tougher than it looks.

Like traditional Pilates, dynamic Pilates is designed to re-address the body’s natural balance through a series of focus and controlled exercises. And whilst both focus on the core muscles in the waist and lower back area to improve strength, flexibility and posture, Dynamic Pilates goes one step further to slim, tone, and create a ‘long and lean’ figure fast.

Each class uses a reformer bed, which allows you to combine traditional Pilates moves with weights and resistance.  Controlled leg raises, ab work, lunges, and much more are all performed on and around the bed.  Some of the moves take getting used to, but with practice you can really see your balance and control improve.

We promise that after just 4 weeks of regular classes you will notice better posture, tighter muscles, and you will feel leaner, fitter, and more toned.

If you aren’t a fan of gyms and have yet to find the right class for you, we highly recommend it.

Ten Pilates also offer pre-natal classes and a high impact spin class, Cardiolates.  Forty-five minutes of spinning is finished off with some abs and arms work on the reformer.  We challenge you to find a better calorie-burning workout.  Ten Pilates is also a great regime to get back into shape post-pregnancy.  With just one class a week, you will really see the benefits.

Ten Pilates currently only have studios in London but we hope they will make a move nationwide soon.
