Whimsigirl is a Maylaysian children’s label that mixes textures and colours in a subdued, classy way. Ahead of their SS15 collection they have just launched their Resort 2015 range. Inspired by the dreamy illustrations of classic literature and The Little Prince, the capsule 20 piece collection includes understated basics for babies up to pre-schoolers in bold neutral hues with a pop of colour.
The brains behind the brand is Nurul Syazana Sukiman, who four years ago, started making clothes for her niece. She was soon receiving inquiries about the adorable outfits and decided to set up her own label. The name Whimsigirl is actually Syazana’s nickname and despite the name, the clothes are not just for girls- most of the line is unisex.
The label offers a refreshing take on children’s wear, infused with traditional and cultural elements. We love the unique designs that are classic, comfortable and practical.
