Stella McCartney Kids SS12

Stella McCartney SS12 cutoutsInspired by the Wild, Wild West, Stella McCartney Kid’s new collection is perfect for little cowboys and Indians.

Stella McCartney’s Kids line just gets better and better, last season we fell in love with the adorable unisex military jacket and her Spring Summer 12 collection has come up trumps once again. With obvious western influences the collection features horse-print baby grows, Red Indian-inspired onesies and cowboy boots fit for your very own mini John Wayne. The range is available for newborn up to 12years and for both boys and girls – although some of the pieces from the boys range would look equally cute on little tomboys.

The Spring/Summer pieces are ideal for playtime or parties, and there are even some that won’t look out of place in the dressing-up box. The prints, colours and shapes are comfortable and playfully child appropriate – although we quite fancy trying to squeeze ourselves into some of the gorgeous knitted jumpers! Highlights of the collection include, the amazing cowboy and Indian print onesies – ideal for any Billy the Kids or pint-sized Pocahontas’ out there, the embroidered baby smocks and an assortment of whimsical print tees brandishing everything from wild horses to terrifying T-Rexes.

To celebrate the launch of the Spring/Summer kids line, Selfridges are opening an exclusive pop-up store on the 3rd floor of their London store between the 26th January – 14th February. As part of the store’s ‘World of Stella’ revelries, Selfridges are inviting shoppers and their kids to come along for some face painting and balloon modelling fun on the 4th and 5th of February – the ideal day out to entertain the kids and get some shopping done at the same time.
