It’s hard to believe it, but it’s already time to do our spring clean. After all, it’s time to scrub away all that mess that’s been made around the home over the last few months. And it’s finally time to sort out all that clutter. But when it comes to sorting out all those unnecessary items, it’s hard to decide what to do with them. After all, you might not want to put them away in the bin. Therefore, here are some things you can do with clutter when it’s time to do your spring clean!

Find new homes for them

It’s easy for items to build up on the floor when they don’t have a proper home. After all, you just don’t have a clue about what to do with them. But unless you want a ton of clutter in your home, you need to find new homes for them. And it might mean you need to create some new storage to give them somewhere to live. This could be some shelving on the wall which you can fill with items. Or it might be that you need to get some boxes which you can fill with items. And then you can place these under your bed, so they are hidden from view. With new storage, you won’t have to worry about endless clutter on the floor again.

Sell them on

A lot of the clutter you might find in the home when you do the spring clean is items you don’t have a purpose for anymore. Whether that might be old phones or tablets, it can leave you wondering whether to put them in the bin. But with the rise of e-waste as discussed in this electronic infographic, it’s best to find another way to remove the item from your home. One way you could do it is via selling the item. If it’s an old phone, someone might give you a significant amount of cash for the item. And companies will even buy the item as they will sell it on for more! In fact, some companies will take the item even if it’s no longer working. Therefore, you can ensure your home stays tidier while earning yourself some extra money at the same time. And tech isn’t the only thing that you can sell. Old clothes and jewellery could also be sold for some extra money.

Give them to charity

When it comes to old items, you might not be sure what to do with the clutter. After all, you don’t want them sitting in your home. But they might not be in good enough quality to sell them on. But rather than putting them in the rubbish, you should consider giving them to charity. After all, they can use the items to sell on to other people. Or they might give it to the needy to use in their home. Therefore, rather than letting clutter sit around in your home, it’s time to give it away!

And once you have cleaned your home, here are some tips to spring clean your health! After all, now is the time to get into shape before summer arrives.
