StyleNest dropped by L’Anima after work to sample the new Italian Aperitivi menu and enjoyed a sophisticated cocktail….or two, accompanied by Chef Francesco Mazzei’s daily choice of cichetti finger food.
As StyleNest tucked into our first cocktail of choice, a fresh and crisp raspberry and prosecco bellini, the jazz band ignited the room with an electric atmosphere. Soon after, the nibbles arrived with a pizza rustica and after we finished our first drink there was only one thing left to do…order another. We were recommended to try the L’Anima Star, featuring an unusual blend of exotic flavours including Italian prosecco, fresh passion fruit, home infused vodka, Madagascar liqueur and lemon juice served with an ice shot of prosecco. The idea is to drink a sip from each so you get the sweet infusion of passion fruit, followed by a tangy burst of prosecco.
L’Anima translated as Italian for the soul offers nothing but hearty Italian food and the new Aperitivi menu offers a range of mouth watering dishes which will keep hunger at bay until dinner time. The chef’s daily choice features saffron arancini, olive bread, spicy meatballs, grana padano cheese puffs, spinach and ricotta bocconcini and pizza rustica.
Where West meets East, L’Anima is perfect spot for a romantic date or lively catch up with friends or colleagues. L’Anima offers an intimate and sophisticated dine and drink experience from noon to night.
