108 Brasserie

108StyleNest recently headed for late summer lunch at 108 Brasserie, Marylebone Lane, enjoying a stylish dining experience.

Set in the bustling Marylebone, you will find 108 Brasserie just off the high street, at 108 Marylebone Lane. The handsome location sets a high standard which the restaurant mirrors with both its food and service. Shown to our table, we took in the classic contemporary décor, making the brasserie a beautiful setting for our lunch. Part of The Marylebone hotel, the chic corner of this Edwardian townhouse is modern yet timeless.

To start, I sampled Roasted Organic Baby Beets with Goat’s Curd, Basil and Balsamic. A stunning starter, I could have eaten it again straight after. My husband chose Crispy Pigs Cheeks with Mustard Crème Fraiche, Apple & Raisin Chutney. As tempting as my tasty dish, the Mr tucked in with delight.

For our mains we had Spring Vegetable & Pearl Barley Risotto with Parmesan & Wild Garlic plus the Marylebone Hamburger and a side of Seasonal Greens with Toasted Seeds & Lemon Dressing (not forgetting our bottle of house red). Sumptuous flavours and stunning presentation was the order of the day, each plate filled with more-ish mouthfuls of fantastic food.

Providing impeccable service throughout, 108 team members Aladdin and Chris came to our rescue when deciding on dessert. Walking us through to the adjoining 108 Pantry, we were shown a selection of mouth-watering cakes, tarts and cheesecakes. Rather jolly from the lunchtime red, we were more than a little bit excited when Aladdin and Chris offered us a selection of their greatest puds. Delivered to the table were; a Chocolate & Beetroot Cupcake, Guinness & Bailey’s Cake, Vanilla Cheesecake and Mixed Fruit Flan Tart. All completely heavenly, we did take particularly well to the genius blend of Guinness and Bailey’s, as well as the yummy Chocolate & Beetroot Cupcake.

108 Brasserie also recently launched their Weekend Brunch Menu. Available from 11am-5pm on Saturdays and Sundays, you can tuck into traditional brunch dishes such as Eggs Benedict or Avocado on Toast, whilst listening to the resident three piece jazz band. Cocktails accompany the menu, should you be seeking an alcoholic sip. Smoothies complete the line-up, meaning there has been no better time to visit 108 Brasserie.
