This deceptively simple festive Glazed Gammon is perfect for dinner parties as it will cook in the oven whilst you get ready for a fuss free dinner! It’s delicious served warm with fluffy jacket potatoes, or cold with crusty bread and chutneys.

What You’ll Need:
- 1.25kg (44 oz) Denhay Unsmoked gammon Joint
- 4 tablespoons orange marmalade
- 1 stem ginger, drained and finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
What To Do:
- Line a roasting tin with a double sheet of foil. Place the gammon in a roasting tin, cover loosely with foil and cook at 180oC for 35mins per 500g (17 ½ oz).
- Once cooked, remove the skin from the gammon, leaving behind a thin layer of fat. Score the fat with the tip of a sharp knife (make small shallow cuts along the fat)
- Mix together the marmalade, stem ginger and brown sugar and spread evenly over the fat.
- Bake in the oven for 30 minutes until the glaze is sticky and golden. Leave to rest before carving.
