Looking for an alternative to mulled wine? Try this rum winter warmer with ginger, apple, pear and cinnamon.

What You’ll Need:
- 500ml The Duppy Share rum
- 2 litres cloudy apple juice
- 5cm fresh ginger, sliced
- 2 ripe pears, thinly sliced lengthways
- 2 cinnamon sticks, plus extra to garnish
- Juice of 4 limes
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
What To Do:
- Pour the apple juice into a large saucepan, then add the ginger, pears, lime juice, cinnamon and sugar.
- Bring to the boil and then simmer until all of the sugar has dissolved.
- Serve warm in glasses or mugs, add a good shot of rum on top and a cinnamon stick for garnish.
