Blue Rose Cocktail

Impress your guests this NYE with this stunning Blue Rose Cocktail.

Created by Ryan Chetiyawardana who is fast establishing himself as one of the UK’s leading barmen. He has created a unique gin based cocktail with blueberries called Blue Rose for Seaonsalberries.co.uk.

The strong juniper flavour works especially well with the blueberries’ top floral notes and earthiness.

What You’ll Need: 

• 50ml gin
• 12 Chilean blueberries
• 1 inch carrot freshly grated
• 20ml lemon
• 15ml rose scented sugar syrup (to make your own, mix two parts of sugar to one part of water. For each litre of sugar syrup you make, add 5ml Rose water and 5ml Ardbeg)
• 2 dashes orange bitters
• Dash sparkling water
• Ice

What To Do:

1. Shake all ingredients.
2. Double strain into a coupette (strainer).
3. Top up with sparkling water.
