Grey Goose Taste By Appointment

greygoose taste experienceThis October, Grey Goose Taste By Appointment is popping up at a number of London’s hippest restaurants and bars.

Following the success of Taste By Appointment during Summer 2012 at locations including The Langham, The Savoy, The W Hotel and Hakassan, Grey goose have brought this popular experience back for the winter months.

Grey Goose Taste By Appointment evolves around every individual’s unique sense of taste. From individual consultations with Grey Goose’s taste expert, to exquisite cocktails and unique tasting experiments, these events are like nothing you have ever witnessed before.

Each event spans over three hours and includes a mouth-watering schedule of taste experiences. Upon arrival, you are welcomed with a signature Le Fizz cocktail. Be assured, you will be topped up throughout the evening, along with a selection of delicious canapés, chosen to reflect the tastes you will be experiencing. A Grey Goose taste expert will talk you through the dynamics of your five tastes, sweet, salty, sour, bitter and umami. He will ascertain what your taste preference is through a selection of questions, fun and surprising experiments, all completed with the chance to create your own signature cocktail.

Taste By Appointment is a great way to spend an evening with friends or a loved-one. Sampling the stunning flavours of the Grey Goose vodka itself is enough to warrant a visit to this event, although the highlight of the evening has to be the one-to-one appointment with Joe McCanta, Grey Goose taste expert and master barman. Joe is adept at understanding your tastebuds and works with you to create a bespoke cocktail tailored to your taste on the night. Once the perfect drink is complete, you will be emailed the recipe the next day to ensure you can recreate your own special cocktail.

Taste by Appointment events are taking place this October at Bread Street Kitchen, Hakassan and Dabbous. It costs £75, with 25% of the price of every ticket being donated to the Elton John Aids Foundation.
