This Easter, throw in your apron, jump on the Eurostar and head to the Mandarin Oriental, Paris where you can leave the hard work up to  Michelin star chef Thierry Marx and his team. Located on the infamous Rue Sain-Honoré, Mandarin Oriental, Paris is nestled between some of the world’s most haute couture shops, famous patisseries and beautiful history. The stylish, contemporary hotel offers guests an oasis away from the hub of the city and gives guests a sanctuary where they can unwind.

Take advantage of the long weekend and head to Paris for the Mandarin’s stunning three course lunch. With a seasonal menu offering mouth-watering spring delights such as asparagus from Mallemort with Hen’s egg cooked at 65° and sautéed morels followed by roasted “Pascaline” Lamb, with fava beans and mashed potatoes and a grand finale for dessert, The Mandarin are throwing an Easter feast like no other. The menu also includes a gourmet Easter egg filled with crunchy almond biscuit, passion fruit cream, coconut mousse and freshly diced mango.

Easter is all about treats and the sugar rush doesn’t stop there. Both children and adults will love the Cake Shop at the Mandarin Oriental, Paris where pastry chef Pierre Mathieu has created a delectable Easter egg crafted like a fan. Inspired by the Mandarin Oriental’s Hotel group logo, the egg has eleven crisp segments and dusted with gold. A real sensory experience, the egg is filled with a praline centre, along with a milk chocolate base filled with aromatic and spicy flavours.

The three-course Easter menu at Camélia is priced at EUR 65 per person and is available over Easter on Sunday 31March and Monday 1 April for lunch and dinner.

Chef Pierre Mathieu’s exceptional creation is available exclusively at the Cake Shop at Mandarin Oriental, Paris from 15 April and is priced at EUR 64 per egg.
