City In Bloom At Sauterelle

Heritage BeetrootThe annual Chelsea Flower Show is nearly upon us and this year Sauterelle have created a City in Bloom menu to celebrate the blossom of buds.

Located on the mezzanine level of the Royal Exchange, Sauterelle offers contemporary French cuisine against a sophisticated backdrop of sophistication in the original courtyard.

The new ‘City in Bloom’ menu offers a four-course floral-inspired tasting menu with wines to match.

Priced at £55 per head, the four course with wine pairing tasting menu begins with a heritage beetroot dish served with Bocconcini mozzarella, pickled fennel and violet flowers. Following this, a main course of wild halibut with stuffed zucchini flower will be served, followed by St Nicolas de la Dalmerie with elderflower honey for the perfect pre dessert course. And for the final course, a deconstructed rhubarb crumble served with hazelnut praline crumble, rhubarb sorbet and wild primrose flowers offers a flawless way to finish a flowering meal.

Available from 19-23 May, Sauterelle mixologists will also be on hand with a floral inspired cocktail menu including drinks such as Garden In Bloom, offering infusions of Bloom gun and fresh rhubarb with fresh lemon juice and Chase rhubarb liqueur.

The perfect way to welcome in summer and wave goodbye to winter, the new City in Bloom menu offers a flowering feast, perfect for garden enthusiasts and fellow flower fans.
