Cakepops From Lottie’s Bakery

Lottie's Bakery CakepopsFrom the cute to the quirky, the festive to the fun, Lottie’s Bakery is the latest confectionary company taking London’s cakepop trend by storm.

We’re self-proclaimed cupcake connoisseurs here at StyleNest, and think we know a good crumb for a soggy bottom. But when it comes to cakepops, the latest confectionary trend to take Fashion Week parties and pop star album launches by storm, we’ve been somewhat lost. Until we found Lottie.

Lottie’s Bakery was born in September 2012 and having just celebrated one little year in the sweet tooth business, the London based company has already found a whole host of fans.

Founded by talented baker Dina Wilson, Lottie’s designs are wonderfully whimsical. From Santa Claus to Spiderman heads, miniature tea and coffee cups to the London Underground signs, Dina’s baking imagination knows know boundaries.

Lottie’s only ever use organic flour and eggs to create their pops and each one is hand rolled and hand painted, making each one charming and unique.

Dina first started making cakepops in 2010 when she spotted them on an American blog. Her first was a beautiful flower pop cake topped with handmade tiny fondant flowers. In just three years she’s made it into a business, and is the go-to sweet treat at Fashion Week after parties and even the Brit Awards.

With Christmas coming up, Lottie’s have an adorable range of festival treats on offer, from little snowmen to Christmas trees and even a pop sized, potted poinsettia.

Mary Berry better watch her back.

Lottie’s Bakery cakepops are priced at £2.50 each, with a minimum order of 8. Orders can be made online. www.lottiesbakery.com
