Bubbles and Jazz at La Tremoille, Paris

La Tremoille restaurant Louis² (2)After a wonderful recent stay at La Tremoille, we couldn’t wait to head back for a relaxed evening of ‘Bubbles and Jazz’, the hotel’s weekly jazz night which offers the chance to enjoy a glass of after-work champagne and petits-fours, set to the backdrop of a live jazz pianist.

Started just two years ago, Bubbles and Jazz has become a popular and permanent fixture at the hotel, offering something different to other Parisian bars and hotels. A favourite hang-out of musical greats Duke Ellington and Louis Armstrong, the hotel was a popular setting for many jazz performances during the 1960s jazz scene, which have now been revived thanks to Bubbles and Jazz.

Thinking it would be the perfect way to relax after work on a Thursday evening and a chance to enjoy the comfort of the hotel once more, StyleNest headed over, and were lucky enough to catch the singer Vita Schmidt, who performs at the hotel once a month.

Accompanied by a live pianist, Vita’s voice was the perfect background to an after work-catch up with friends as we sipped our delicious champagne. We were also grateful for an after-work nibble in the form of petit fours from the hotel’s luxury restaurant. And the hotel’s friendly and attentive staff made it even easier to just sit back, relax and enjoy the music, and maybe just one more glass of that delicious champagne…

Bubbles & Jazz evenings are every Thursday from 6.pm to 9pm and include a glass of Moët & Chandon champagne and petits fours for €15.
