Berners Tavern Interior BarThe latest venture Berners Tavern from Jason Atherton has launched at the London Edition Hotel.

With ten restaurants under his belt, Berners Tavern is Atherton’s latest venture after the successful venture of Pollen Street Social and Little Social which recently opened in March. Having learnt his craft at Gordon Ramsay, Atherton earned his Michelin stars and launched his first restaurant in 2010.

His fourth London venture, Jason Atherton has launched Berners Tavern for an all day dining experience where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, tea, dinner and late supper. Located in London’s EDITION Hotel in the heart of Fitzrovia. Teaming up with Phil Carmichael to head up the kitchen, Carmichael who has worked with Jason for over ten years has helped create a contemporary British themed menu.

Using seasonal produce from the British Isles, the menu includes dishes such as Orkney scallop Carpaccio with avocado, radish, jalapeño and lime as well as grass fed Baccleuch estate cuts of beef cooked on a charcoal grill. Themed menus such as fish Friday’s and Sunday roast keep the menu interesting, serving inspired traditions from across Great Britain.

Located in London’s Berners Street, a stone’s throw from the hustle and bustle of London’s Oxford Street. Nestled away from the busy shoppers, Berners Tavern is located in five luxurious townhouses, combined to form the Berners Hotel.  

With plush banquette seating of chestnut mohair and leather to give the room a warm feel as well as ornate ceiling moulding for an opulent look, the Berners Tavern is undoubtedly a luxurious setting.
