Kestin Hare continues to grow as a brand, with a London store in Rivington Street, two in Edinburgh and a raft of new stockists across the globe.
For A/W the collection White Noise sees a new slant on their core ethos of exceptional materials, well made in timeless, contemporary designs. Hare has taken inspiration from TV static remembered from his youth, and incorporated materials and techniques to achieve a coherent collection with stand-alone pieces which will last for seasons to come. We have picked out some favourites amongst a strong collection of outerwear, shirting, sweats, tees and more……
The collar is a legacy from prior incarnation Common People, with materials and spec reflecting the attention to detail at the heart of Kestin’s brand.
Dark chambray with a dot weave throughout, and mother of pearl buttons, and beautifully cut; simply a great shirt.
This is a modified version of the sold out S/S incarnation for chillier climes. Made in the UK from Italian bonded wool and lined with airtex for breathability. I am a huge fan of the smart track pant as an item generally when executed well, and this is a perfect example of amazing materials and execution.
An amazing contemporary take on a veritable classic. The Italian wool outer is bonded with neoprene for breathable insulation. Also in navy and arguably the stand-out of the season; the informed evolution of a timeless shape.
A proper woolly jumper in one of three colours, to get your inner hillwalker on when winter kicks in. Cable knit yoke detail and 100% British wool proving cozy and comfortable can still have style, rather than implying you have a flask of soup on your person.
Heavy will blend jersey with bound edges which suggest a piping, and a relatively formal fit which belies the material. As with so many of Kestin’s pieces can be dressed up or down;eminently wearable and smart on the right side of dandy.
I very nearly plumped for the lovely Fuse baseball jacket as my last choice, but this is a cracker imho- navy quilted wool with an orange nylon reverse, and perfect for additional warmth and insulation with all manner of freshness for winter.
