High street favourite, Whistles launches a premium bag range for Spring Summer 12.

To compliment their stunning Spring Summer womenswear collection, high street store Whistles have launched a line of premium bags. The collection comprises wearable and practical shapes such as the classic shopper, smart tote and school run favourite, the satchel, all in the brand’s shades of the season- from mustard yellow to cobalt blue as well as the classic navy and tan.

The Francoise Tote has got to be the standout piece of the collection. At £295 it’s at the higher end of the Whistle’s bag range but with it’s matte leather finish, twist lock opening and structured ladylike shape; it could give a few It bags a run for their money. Paired with cat eye sunglasses and a full skirt, the Francoise is the perfect arm candy to accompany this season’s 50s trend.
