Westfield London Celebrates 5th Birthday With Collaborative Sweatshirt Range

Westfield London 5th Birthday SweatshirtsWestfield will celebrate its 5th birthday by teaming up with five London Fashion Week designers, who have each designed an exclusive sweatshirt for the shopping brand.

Westfield will celebrate its 5th birthday this October 30th, by teaming up with five London Fashion Week designers, each of whom have designed a sweatshirt in aid of the festivities.

Louise Gray, Sophia Webster, Richard Nicoll, Peter Pilotto and Thomas Tait have all been enlisted by the West London shopping mecca that is Westfield. Each designer was asked to use ‘Westfield London’ as their design inspiration, and each have come up with their own unique sweatshirt, showcasing their signature styles.

Not only will the collection give shoppers the chance to snap up a piece of the LFW designers for a mere £65 a pop, but all proceeds from each sale will go to charity, Save The Children.

Each of the sweatshirts showcases the five designer’s house styles and no more so than Sophia Webster. Usually putting her design skills into footwear, Sophia’s take on the sporty sweatshirt incorporates some of her most iconic shoes, with humbug black and white stripes and digital print jewels, all scattered over her preferred pastel colour palette.

Louise Gray’s design works two print clashes in one much like her usual quirky, kitsch collections do. Whilst Thomas Tait’s design takes on a more stripped back, low-key look in sporty dove grey.

Richard Nicoll took the 5th birthday celebrations quite literally by stamping a huge number 5 on his grey marl sweat in his current preferred colour, powder pink, giving his sweatshirt a cool, laid back vibe.

And finally London Fashion Week design duo Peter Pilotto give the humble sweater an opulent twist in a jet black and gold print.

Each of the five sweaters will be available to buy from 30 October to 6 November at an exclusive pop-up shop in Westfield London. Each design is priced at £65 with all proceeds going to Save The Children.
