Online, luxury boutique my-wardrobe, launch the new ‘my-dressing room’ service – the personal, privilege loyalty service that allows shoppers to try before they buy,  free of charge.

Online, British womenswear boutique, my-wardrobe.com have come up with a helpful service this season, to put an end to online shopping disasters.

If like us, you’ve ever ordered what you thought was your size, excitingly received it all beautifully packaged and crying out to be part of your wardrobe, only to try it on and find that it’s too small, too big or just not quite right.

Well, with my-wardrobe’s new ‘my-dressing room’ service, you can shop the sizes or pieces you’re interested in and only have your card pre-authorised, not charged. So the pieces you send back will never actually be charged to your account. So simple and so sensible – why has no one thought of this before?

So how exactly does it work?

As you browse the virtual rails of my-wardrobe.com, from Acne to Marc by Marc Jacobs, Carven to Kenzo, you can add your favourite pieces to your virtual dressing room, by clicking the new star icon.

Then, when you’re in my-dressing room, set your universal sizes on the left. This will ensure they automatically apply to all your selections, and remember them even when you log out.

Next, simply select the products you want tot try on and checkout.

Your card will then be pre-authorised, much like it would when you check-in to a hotel, but not charged.

Once you’ve received your selection, my-wardrobe.com will send you an email the next day to see if there’s anything you’re not happy with and would like to return. If so, click through the links on your return email and box up the unwanted, to be couriered back to my-wardrobe the next day. For even more fuss-free returns you can select a specific courier collection time too.

Then, anything you keep will be charged to your card. If you loved everything, simply don’t do anything and the my-wardrobe team will charge your card a few days later.
