Wallis clothing launch a new campaign and collection for Autumn/Winter ’13. Titled the W Collection, the limited edition line fuses monochrome and urban undertones with chic tailoring and a polished femininity.
We have to admit it, high street store Wallis has slipped under our radar in recent years. What was once a go-to favourite in the 90s, gave way to the Topshops, H&Ms and Zaras that have taken over high streets up and done the country.
Well, Wallis are back for Autumn/Winter 2013, better than ever, with the launch of their limited edition line, the W Collection.
The collection comprises trend-led, yet wearable pieces at good price points, including a selection of luxury coats, Christmas party-worthy occasion dresses, weekend separates some great work wear.
AW13 is really all about the coat. From those pretty blush pink tones to oversized masculine cuts, it seems outerwear is the new black. Wallis has two wish list coats on offer, the clean cut Grey Slim Coat £99 – tailored and inspired my classic tailoring it’s the perfect piece to channel the season’s boy-meets-girl vibe.
And for evening, reference the simplistic modernity of Céline with Wallis’ Cream Slim Coat, £99. In a beautiful, off-white ivory it’ll make a real statement piece for winter evenings.
With only weeks to go before the Christmas festivities begin, there’s never been a better time to update your cocktail wardrobe. We’re loving the texture clash Wallis’ Silver Sequin Skirt, £60 offers, as minute silver sequins are mixed with oversized ones to create an almost muted leopard print detail. Pair with a silk tee and sky-high heels.
The W Collection offers some great tailored pieces too such as the Black PU Trim suit, with the jacket priced at £80 and the trousers at £45. The PU trim offers a grownup way to channel this season’s punkish vibe.
