The hotly anticipated Kate Moss Topshop collection returns this season, as the supermodel and high street store launch a sneak peak video online.
Topshop have released a sneak peak, behind the scenes video of the new Kate Moss for Topshop collection, due to launch in store and online 30 April.
It’s been seven years since the supermodel and style icon launched her debut womenswear collection for the Arcadia owned store, and almost four years since her last collection. So expect sellout pieces and hordes of crowds this time round too.
As always, Kate has delved into her own wardrobe to seek inspiration for the collection. Although the line is yet to be revealed in full, the model has hinted that her famous vintage inspired aesthetic, wardrobe showstoppers and standout pieces from collections past will all make appearances.
This week Topshop released a teaser video, in which swatches of sequinned star prints, 70s inspired paisley and design mood boards can be seen. Kate suggests that after seven years designing with the high street behemoth, she has learnt a lot, resulting in this collection being her most sophisticated to date.
Sophisticated it may be, but Kate’s signature, innate style is clearly reflected in the collection with a strong sense of vintage, rock ‘n’ roll aesthetic.
The collection has had the fashion seal of approval too, as Kate graces her 35th Vogue cover next month showcasing one of its star pieces. On the cover, Kate wears a metallic silver fringed jacket, whilst inside the iconic magazine, model Freya Beha Erichsen wears several pieces from the line.
“Everything in the collection is definitely something I would wear, I can’t wait to get my hands on it,” Kate says of the SS14 collection.
Something tells us she’s not going to be the only one.
