model and daughter wearing Prada designs for Born Free charity collaboration A host a fashion designers, including Victoria Beckham, Diane Von Furstenberg and Stella McCartney have designed a collection of womenswear and matching mini me style dresses, for a charity collaboration this spring.

Some on the world’s most famous designers and stylish women have joined forces for a unique charity collaboration this month.

The likes of Victoria Beckham, Stella McCartney, Gisele Bündchen, Céline and J.Crew and Versace, have designed a capsule collection of womenswear pieces, with shrunk-down, mini-me matching items.

An accompanying ad campaign, shot by renowned fashion photographer Patrick Demarchelier, features some of the world’s biggest supermodels and their offspring sporting the designs.

Model Sasha Pivovarova and her daughter Mia are seen in two designs, one by British designer Victoria Beckham, the other by Italian fashion house Prada. Doutzen Kroes and son Phyllon are captured looking adorable in a matching Marni dress and scarf. Whilst blonde beauty, Karolina Kurkova effortlessly showcases a matching shirt and shorts combo, next to her little boy Tobin, in his matching tee.

22 designers are involved in the campaign, with all the designs made available to buy at online retailer, Shopbop.com. 100% of profits from the women’s and children’s collection will go to Born Free, whilst the M.A.C. AIDS Fund will match all donations and the total purchase price of all products sold, up to $500,000.

The idea perfectly communicates Born Free’s charity initiative, which works throughout Africa to end transmission of HIV from mothers to children. 700 children are infected every day yet 98% of cases are preventable, a harrowing statistic for all mothers out there.

The collection is set at a hugely discounted price point too, with a women’s Prada skirt retailing at just £151 and a Marni silk scarf at just £35. Prada on a purse friendly budget and all for a good cause? This is one fashion charity collaboration you can’t miss.
