Iconic American brand, Ralph Lauren is announced as the official outfitter of Team USA’s Olympic wear and have launched a Sports of Summer collection to celebrate.

Ralph Lauren is no exception with the Sports of Summer collection kitting out Team USA and hitting the brand’s shelves in store and online.
As a brand, Ralph Lauren are synonymous with America’s preppy, collegiate style, so it comes as no surprise to hear that they have been chosen as the official outfitters of Team USA’s Olympic collection. The collection will adorn America’s Olympian heroes during the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, as well as during their stay in London’s Olympic Village.
The Sports of Summer collection comprises womenswear and menswear with heritage inspired piece including the classic Polo and preppy striped blazers.
For women, Ralph Lauren have referenced retro 70s sportswear with soft cotton, fitted jersey’s featuring red white and blue banners – the perfect colour palette no matter what side of the Atlantic you are supporting.
Meanwhile, menswear takes on a slightly smarter tone with sporting blazers, striped shirts and traditional cricket sweaters.
And to really get in the Olympic spirit, Ralph Lauren have released the same Polo shirts the US team will wear at this year’s mammoth sporting event. Available for both men and women, in classic navy or white the Polos are priced from £110. Customers can choose from American flag badges or patriotic Union Jacks.
