Petit Bateau launches their latest capsule collection, joining forces with Monsieur Christian Lacroix.

Petit Bateau teams up with Opéra National de Paris and Christian Lacroix this season with a womenswer and childrenswear collection, launching 6 December 2013.

“I was very grateful to be asked by Petit Bateau to design a few timeless pieces, just for the evocation of those memories, “ explains Lacroix, “Of course, the Opéra de Paris, a flagship monument, also plays a role in the project and I am very pleased to be able to work against the backdrop once again.” 

Think Petit Bateau’s signature nautical stripes with accents of gold, red, purple, coral and fuchsia. The new collection for women and girls is inspired by the sea, little boats, fresh air and the Palais Garnier opera house for a wearable but yet opulent collection.

Velvet ties transform the day piece into night time attire, whilst belted striped tops and puff skirts make the collection suitably festive in rich crimsons. Meanwhile, spring corals will see you through from this season to next.

A perfect marriage between Lacroix and Petit Bateau, the new capsule collection presents a balanced offering of Lacroix flamboyance and Petit Bateau’s staples.
