From newborm to adult, loved by both children and their parents, Petit Bateau is a household favourite for their stylish classic designs and fine quality cottons. From the inside out, Petit Bateau offers a range of undergarments and outer garments to ensure for all wardrobe essentials whilst retaining unique unique style.

Autumn Winter 2013 sees a new vision for the brand with French music and fashion label, Kitsuné. Having been tapped as new Artistic Directors for the next three years, Gildas Loaec and Masaya Kuroki will mastermind the adult collections for a fused direction between the brands identities.

With a strong influence of the brand’s heritage combined with Kitsuné’s modernity, a reinvented Petit Bateau is soon to be born. Think Petit Bateau staples with a contemporary twist such as; a vintage poster sweatshirt and marinière stripe dress.

With stylish classics that stand the test of time, Petit Bateau offer seasonal wardrobe staples including the raincoat and the t-shirt as well as signature prints such as the marinière stripe and millerais stripe. Although not their first collection, with a previous capsule collaboration in 2009 and 2012, Kitsuné and Petit Bateau’s collaboration makes for no better timing than the 120th Anniversary and does mark their first efforts as artistic directors.

After 120 years, Petit Bateau sees a modern makeover filled with reworked staples and heritage logos including vintage inspired prints, quilted fabrics, contrast prints and button detailing. Urban and stylish with a streetwear inspired stance, the AW13 collection sees new classics including nautical inspired parkas, plaid shirts and chunky knit cardigans.
