New Christian Louboutin Store Windows Unveiled

Christian Louboutin What a CatchFrench luxury label, Christian Louboutin unveil their latest window displays in three Christian Louboutin stores worldwide.

Something a little fishy seems to be going in the window displays of Christian Louboutin, as three of the designer boutiques around the world have been transformed into a fish inspired fantasy.

Two of the Louboutin boutiques of Paris and the Mount Street store in London have launched their ‘What A Catch’ window display campaign, which sees the store’s shop fronts brought to life with oversized sardine cans, ginormous fishing hooks and those infamous red soled shoes dangling from fishing lines.

The whimsical look is inspired by the Christian Louboutin SS13 look book, that was shot by acclaimed fashion photographer Peter Lippmann. Oversized stackable sardine cans set the backdrop, and reflect the hardwearing, industrial detailing on the products such as spikes and hard case clutch bags.

The cult red soled shoes are suspended in all their glory, from ceiling height on fishing rope style suspensions. Who would have thought, Louboutins and fish would go together? But it makes for a wonderfully fantastical and tongue-in—cheek display.

The fishy fun doesn’t stop in store, it’s also made its way onto Christian Louboutin’s global e-commerce site. The online home page of the French designer now showcases the Spring Summer 13 collection on swinging fish hooks and propped up against giant fish tins.

‘Catches of the Day’ from the Louboutin current collection include the tough-luxe spiked Panettone clutch and the summery Druide sandals laden with serious spikes.

The Christian Louboutin Catch of the Day window displays are on show at 17 Mount Street, London, 19 Rue Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Paris and 68 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, Paris from April 2013.

Check out the virtual displays online too at the Christian Louboutin online store.
