Milly Teams Up With Banana Republic UK

model wears Milly Banana Republic SS13New York label Milly collaborates with global high street giant Banana Republic UK for an exclusive collaboration.

This season sees the launch of another fabulous high street designer collaboration, as cult NY label Milly joins forces with Banana Republic.

The limited edition collection brings Milly’s signature quirky-cool womenswear to a wider audience at a more affordable price range. And for the first time, MIlly founder and designer, Michelle Smith has introduced menswear to the line.

Both the menswear and womenswear lines were inspired by summertime in the Hamptons – think preppy shapes blended with bold, quirky prints.

Prints are engrained in Milly’s style DNA and the Banana Republic collection follows suit. From 60s inspired geometric prints to vibrant florals, the range is not only perfect for summer but on trend for SS13 too.

Highlights of the collection have to be the Milly maxi dresses. Choose from the statement Banana Leaf Print in white and red for the perfect beach wedding look, or the Color Block Pleated Patio Dress for ultimate beach to bar glamour.

There’s also plenty of relaxed pieces on offer, including 70s inspired, printed peasant tops and fine knit pullovers in statement neon shades – perfect for the British summer.

Michelle Smith has also cleverly ensured most of the pieces are available in petite sizes too, so pint sized ladies needn’t miss out.

Your summer wardrobe wouldn’t be complete without some well-chosen accessories, and they come in abundance throughout the Milly collection. From a statement turquoise and silver bib necklace that’ll instantly elevate a trusty white tee, to a chunky coral bangle, that’ll pop with a classic denim shirt, there’s plenty to choose from.

Ensure you’re man doesn’t miss out too with a preppy range of printed shirts, colour pop chinos and weekend worthy polo shirts. Together you’ll be one stylish couple this summer.

The Milly for Banana Republic collection is available in store and online now. Womenswear prices start from £15.
