Summer is well and truly here, and with that comes all those gorgeous outfits. But there is just something about Autumn fashion that has me longing for those sunny but chilly days. Is it just me who loves the crunch of leaves under my feet? Which is why I thought i would indulge a little in autumn fashion. It’s one of the easiest seasons to style. With that in mind, here is how you can style a typical autumn look.
Who can resist the oversized jumper?
As much as it’s lovely wearing a cute summer dress, there something quite comforting about the oversized jumper. I’m not sure whether it’s the loose fit, the flattering nature or just the warmness you feel when wearing one. They go with anything and can be styled for many different occasions. Whether you are heading out to the shops, doing the school run, or having a chilled evening out, the oversized jumper will work it. You may want to consider soft shades of cream and some patterned details for this fall.
Skinny jeans are a must
Skinny jeans have been around for some time now and show no signs of going out of fashion. They are super comfortable and stylish. Which is why autumn fashion wouldn’t be complete without them. Team the skinny jeans with the oversized jumper for a contrasting stylish look. Many styles of jeans come in different colours now, which make for interesting choices. Black or denim blue will always be a popular choice to go for.
Add some solid accessories to bring the whole look together
Accessories range from stylish jewellery, bags, and hats. All of which work great with autumn fashion. An oversized bag can be a great addition to this simple look. You may also want to keep your jewellery accessories simple. So if you add something like a statement necklace, then you may want to be minimal elsewhere. Or let your wrists do the talking with a michael kors darci watch or something similar. A hat can bring your whole look together. Many people opt for something like a trilby hat to add a touch of uniqueness to their look.

It appears ankle boots are also sticking around, which is great news for people who like wearing boots but want some flexible. They can look great with skinny jeans just a much as they can with jumper dresses and tights. They are quite a diverse shoe.

Finally, autumn speaks cream and tan tones in regards to a colour palette. So keep things simple and stick with this type of colour scheme to bring your look together. Not only does it work with clothes but it can work well for your makeup look as well. Mix these colours up with something bright as an alternative look. A bright pink also works well with these types of colours.
