The British womenswear brand announce Brit actress Rosamund Pike as the face of the L.K. Bennett SS13 campaign.
Accessible luxury fashion brand L.K. Bennett have released their campaign for Spring /Summer 2013, which features a starring role from British actress and English Rose, Rosamund Pike.
As the face of both the brand’s SS13 mainline and luxury capsule collection Black Ribbon range, Pike brings her natural good looks and English charm to the campaign.
Pike, who has shared the big screen with the likes of Tom Cruise, Keira Knightly and Johnny Depp, was born and bred in London, which is one reason the brand chose her as a quintessentially English ambassador. The shoot itself is full of British charm being shot by photographer Mariano Vivanco and styled by Cathy Kasterine overlooking the gardens of Buckingham Palace.
The clothes balance L.K. Bennett’s signature relaxed tailoring with modern classics in a palette of spring worthy shades, from pretty pastel pinks to more vampy reds and work appropriate monochrome.
A go-to brand for working women season after season, Rosamund puts this down the L.K. Bennett’s ability to “feel dressed and polished without feeling overdone.” We couldn’t agree more, with standouts of the collection being a butter-soft leather pencil skirt and blush print pleated skirt.
There are plenty of work worthy accessories included in the SS13 from roomy totes in classic black and timeless tan, to the new Alexia clutch – a stunning Art Deco inspired evening bag available in taupe, black or off-white. It’s already on our wish list for wedding season accessories.
